Overview
Michael is a unique type of sales coach. He’s a former opera singer helping sales professionals improve their tonality, vocal abilities and presence to build rapport and close more deals.
Goals
Booking more calls and generating sales for his info products.
Challenges
1. Booking calls through a lead magnet
Before working together, Michael had some lead magnets that performed ok, but didn’t bring in enough email subscribers and sales.
2. Building a converting funnel
Michael had a collection of landing and product pages that explained his services, but he struggled to organize a funnel that converts his social attention into revenue.
3. Designing a highly-converting landing page
Like many creators, Michael struggled with design and needed someone to step in and handle that part for him/
Strategies
I used my four-step process to create a lead magnet that converts.
- I researched Michael’s audience and designed an offer that resonates with his target customer.
- We had a 90-minute interview where I asked Michael various questions about the problems he solves for clients, why they happen, and the solutions. I also got his unique thoughts on different topics. To make his new emails more impactful, I asked him to share real-life stories from past clients
- I created a few assets for Michal:
- Five ‘educational emails’ that mix content and promotion. At the bottom of every email, we pitched Michael’s new bundle or his one-on-one coaching program.
- A three-day ‘FOMO’ sequence, pitching his products in a ‘direct’ (but subtle) manner.
- I also created a brand new landing page for Michael, allowing prospects to subscribe to his email course. New subscribers were immediately directed to a the thank-you page, pitching them on his ‘Tonality Training Toolkit,’ a $35 digital product bundle I helped him position.
- We launched the email course on X, Linkedin and Instagram, and the response was absolutely amazing.
